Welcome to Mah Jong Parlour -- Demonstration Version!
This is a Macintosh® implementation of the true game of mahjong. Some games use the mahjong tiles for a solitaire tile-matching game that is very different from the traditional game of mahjong, although the tiles are similar.
Mah Jong is a four-handed game of tiles in some ways reminiscent of the well known card games, gin-rummy or canasta. However, the subtleties involved make the gameplay far more interesting and strategic than either of these two.
The full version of Mah Jong Parlour includes three levels of computer intelligence (the demo only has the easiest level), networking support for 2-4 human players (MJP automatically assigns computer players for the missing humans) and much more!
